Classic Italian riverside trattoria at Royal Orchid Sheraton, with poolside terrace tables, Chao Phraya views and ICONSIAM on the horizon.
Giorgio’s is the Royal Orchid Sheraton’s dedicated Italian restaurant – a classic trattoria at heart, but set right on the Chao Phraya. Inside, it’s all warm woods, chandeliers and soft, old-world details; outside, a terrace wraps around the riverside pool with tables that look straight onto the water and across to ICONSIAM. The kitchen leans into comforting Italian favourites – think carpaccio, spaghetti alle vongole, risotto al tartufo, grilled meats and tiramisu – available as à la carte or, on selected days and via partners, as an Italian buffet or sharing sets that make it easy to try a bit of everything.
Step out of the hotel lobby and Giorgio’s feels like a small slice of Europe on the river. The indoor room keeps things cosy and classic: dark wooden floors, exposed rafters, paintings on the walls and chandeliers casting a warm glow over closely spaced tables. It’s the kind of space where you can easily linger over antipasti, a bottle of wine and a proper three-course dinner without ever feeling rushed.
Just a few steps away, the atmosphere opens up completely. The terrace runs alongside the pool and river, with two-tops and four-tops facing the water so you can watch boats pass and the lights across the river slowly come on. On clear evenings it’s one of the more romantic spots in this part of Charoen Krung – close enough to Siam Yacht Club to feel part of the hotel’s riverside scene, but with a quieter, more dinner-focused mood. Order a plate of risotto, a grilled main and dessert to share, or go for one of the buffet or set-menu options that bundle pastas, meats, fish and sweets into an easygoing night out.
