Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen

Tuscan fine dining near Ploenchit, using meats, cheeses and olive oil from the Lenzi family farm with warm, homely service.

Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen is a classic Tuscan restaurant tucked into a quiet lane off Wireless Road, a short ride from BTS Ploenchit. Chef Francesco Lenzi builds the menu around products from his family’s farm near Pisa – cured meats, cheeses and olive oil – so the food feels both polished and deeply personal.

Recognised by the MICHELIN Guide Thailand and regularly cited as one of Bangkok’s best Italian tables, Lenzi balances fine-dining technique with a cosy, lived-in atmosphere. It’s serious about ingredients and wine, but still feels like you’re being hosted in someone’s home rather than in a stiff hotel restaurant.

A Tuscan home just off Wireless Road

The restaurant sits in Soi Ruam Ruedee 2, behind the big hotels and embassies of Wireless Road. You step off the traffic-heavy main road into a low-rise house with brick, dark wood and framed photos that immediately signal “Tuscan trattoria” rather than downtown Bangkok.

Inside, the space feels warm and slightly rustic: white tablecloths without being formal, shelves lined with bottles, an open kitchen and cured meats on display. You can watch the team at work while glasses are refilled and plates of cold cuts and pasta move steadily through the room. The mood is lively but not loud – date nights, small groups of friends and business dinners all sit comfortably side by side.

One charming touch: the restaurant offers a tuk-tuk pick-up from BTS Ploenchit, which turns the short transfer into part of the experience.

Tuscan flavours, family-farm ingredients & wine

The kitchen focuses on traditional Tuscan cooking with a refined edge. Many of the signature plates spotlight products from the Lenzi family farm – hams and salumi from Lucca, aged cheeses and extra-virgin olive oil. A good way to start is the Tagliere del Lenzi, a generous board of cold cuts and cheeses that shows off those ingredients properly.

From there, the menu moves into fresh pasta and hearty mains: pappardelle with wild-boar ragù, rich ravioli with foie gras and truffle, risotto, steaks and lamb with deeply worked sauces. Portions are satisfying without being heavy, and specials change with the seasons and with what arrives from Tuscany.

There is also a set lunch on weekdays, which offers a more accessible way to try the restaurant – especially if you’re staying or working around Ploenchit or Chidlom. Dinner service runs every night and is closer to a classic fine-dining experience, with more time between courses and a room that fills up as the evening goes on.

The wine list leans naturally towards Italy, with a strong focus on Tuscany but enough Champagne and old-world classics to keep things interesting. Staff are happy to recommend pairings if you’d rather not study the list too closely.
