Riverside rooftop on the 26th floor of Avani+ with 360° views, tropical-glam design, DJ sets and playful cocktails.
SEEN sits on the 26th and 27th floors of Avani+ Riverside and feels a little like landing in a rooftop beach club that has dressed up for the evening. Palm fronds, curved sofas and a long marble bar wrap around big views of the Chao Phraya; inside, the room leans into dark woods, soft lighting and an almost Art Deco glow. It’s the kind of place where sunset slowly turns into dinner and then into something closer to a small party.
You arrive through the Avani+ lobby and ride the lift straight into the indoor bar, where the first thing you notice is the view – a wide sweep of river and towers framed by glass. The space opens onto an outdoor terrace that bends along the building; some parts feel like lounge seating, others more like classic restaurant tables, all looking out over ferries and barges moving below.
Early in the evening the mood is relaxed: couples settling in at window tables, small groups taking photos by the rail, hotel guests wandering up for a pre-dinner drink. As the sky darkens, the music gets a little louder, the lights dim and the bar takes on more of a night-out feel – still grown-up, but clearly ready for a second or third round. On busy nights there might be themed events or guest DJs, which makes the whole terrace feel like a riverside living room with a built-in soundtrack.
The kitchen at SEEN leans into a mix of South American and Asian influences: ceviches, tartares, grilled dishes and sharing plates that sit comfortably between bar snacks and full dinner. It’s the sort of menu that works whether you’re planning a long meal or just want a few plates to share while you watch boats crawl along the river.
Drinks are where SEEN has most of its fun. The cocktail list is full of colourful signatures with names like Agua de Cocoand Fusion Julep, playful on paper but carefully balanced in the glass. Expect tropical fruit, fresh herbs, interesting spirits and a few nods to cacao and other Latin ingredients, alongside well-executed classics, mocktails and a strong wine and whisky selection.
Service is hotel-polished but relaxed: staff are used to special occasions and date nights, but they’re just as happy helping you pull together casual drinks with friends. Reservations are a good idea for front-row terrace tables, especially on Fridays and Saturdays when the venue leans more into its “Sin and be SEEN” party persona.
