The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar

1920s-inspired rooftop on Langsuan with Art Deco details, skyline terraces, European–Thai bar food and cocktails that lean heavily on gin.

The Speakeasy sits across the 24th and 25th floors of Hotel Muse on Langsuan and feels like a small rooftop world built around one idea: a 1920s-style evening above the city. Art Deco lines, golden domes, dark wood and soft lamps set the tone; outside, terraces wrap around the building with views of central Bangkok. It’s a place for people who like their rooftops a little more dressed up, with proper cocktails and a setting that suggests you might linger longer than planned.

Vintage rooftop mood on Langsuan

The lower level works like an indoor lounge: leather chairs, patterned floors, long bar, windows framing the skyline. It borrows from European hotel bars and 1920s speakeasies, but the result feels more like a classic Bangkok night spot than a costume party.

Step outside and you’re on the open terrace under the golden dome that you see from the street. Tables sit along the edge, with extra corners and cabana-style seating spread around the deck. You look out across Langsuan towards Chit Lom and Ploenchit; below, the traffic and BTS lines are busy, but up here the mood is quieter, more conspiratorial. On weekends, a DJ or live music adds a low, steady pulse in the background.

Hidden on the 24th floor is the Blind Pig Cigar Lounge, a small room styled like a gentlemen’s club from the same era, with cigars, whisky and a darker, more private feel. It’s easy to miss if you don’t look for it – which is part of the charm.
